7100AD

with artists Yambe Tam and Dylan Henry Price

7100AD is a gamified artistic speculation in VR about the lives of wild bees and plants on Earth after humans. Players embody a wild bee surviving on a desert island and creating new varieties of flowers as they feed on nectar while avoiding predators. The speculative nature of this piece allows players to step into the legacy and future of wild habitats. Players momentarily suspend their humanness to experience otherworldly sensations of a wild bee flying in an evolving landscape while participating in the rebuilding of plant diversity.
